Matt Y

Matt Y（亦以 Matthew Yu 之名活動）是一位擅長融合情感與氛圍的音樂創作者／唱作人。早期作品以夢境音樂（DreamTrack）及抒情風格為主，如〈Wanna〉、〈觀星器 Telescope〉及〈一生〉等。自 2024 起，他開始深入探索爵士曲風與跨界合作，包括與 Jackson L 共同創作首支爵士感作品〈圓缺的月光〉，並與 Anthony Choy 合作撰寫〈Nothing Will Stop Us Again〉，展現其不斷演進的音樂視野。他的作品常收錄於下方個人與合作播放清單中，持續以溫柔而豐富的聲景觸動聽眾。

自 2025 年起，他積極參與香港爵士圈活動，包括於 Fountain De Chopin 的 Fountain Academy 接受鼓手訓練，並開始以鼓手身份與各音樂圈子合作演出；完成課程後，他於 Fountain De Chopin、Cheek to Cheek Soho 及西九文化區等地，以 session drummer 身份演奏爵士名曲及參與 busking。

Matt Y (also known as Matthew Yu) is a musician / singer-songwriter skilled in blending emotion and atmosphere. His early works focus on dream-like soundscapes (DreamTrack) and lyrical pieces, such as "Wanna," "觀星器 Telescope," and "一生." Since 2024, he has gradually explored Jazz and crossover styles, including his first Jazz-influenced collaboration with Jackson L on "圓缺的月光," and co-writing "Nothing Will Stop Us Again" with Anthony Choy, reflecting an evolving artistic vision. His tracks are often featured in the personal and collaborative playlists below, consistently engaging listeners with tender yet rich sonic landscapes.

Since 2025, he has become more active in Hong Kong's jazz scene, training as a drummer at Fountain Academy at Fountain De Chopin and performing with musicians across different circles. After completing the program, he has appeared as a session drummer at Fountain De Chopin, Cheek to Cheek Soho, and the West Kowloon Cultural District, playing jazz standards and busking.
